Bridging the gap between biology education and industry-ready skills

Dr. Omics Research and Education Private Limited was built on a single conviction: every biology student in India — whether at a tier-1 research institute or a small college in a smaller city — deserves access to world-class bioinformatics training.

We offer certified courses in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD), AI & Machine Learning in Biology, Pharmacogenomics, and Precision Medicine — taught by 100+ active researchers and industry practitioners. Our programmes align with NEP 2020, carry government certifications from LSSSDC, TÜV-SÜD, and EIMT, and are designed to take a student from zero to publication-ready. We have also signed a 5-year MoU with APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) to provide bioinformatics internships to more than 30,000 students across Andhra Pradesh.

"We do not just teach bioinformatics. We build the next generation of researchers who will decode India's genomic future."

Dr. Deepshikha Satish, PhD

CEO & Founder · Dr. Omics Research and Education Pvt. Ltd.

Dr. Deepshikha Satish is a bioinformatics researcher, educator, and entrepreneur who built Dr. Omics from the ground up to solve a real gap she encountered firsthand: biology graduates with strong wet-lab foundations but no access to computational training.

She holds a PhD from ICGEB — the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, a UN-affiliated intergovernmental research institution in New Delhi and one of the world's most prestigious life sciences research centres. Her doctoral research is backed by a well-established publication record in peer-reviewed international journals spanning genomics, bioinformatics, and precision medicine — giving Dr. Omics courses a depth of scientific rigour that few edtech platforms can match.

She completed the Stanford Seed Spark Program (March–July 2025) at Stanford Graduate School of Business, was awarded the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 at the Startup Story Entrepreneur Awards, and has led Dr. Omics to secure grants from DST (Govt. of India), AWS, Illumina, and the Pfizer Indovation IP Support Program at IIT Delhi. She has been featured in The Times of India, The Print, Dainik Jagran, News18 India, and Aaj Tak.
